A Life That Makes a Difference! (Posted by Priya Deelchand)
Hope you are all doing awesome! Here is a true story that I would like to share
with you. It was written by Steve Goodier.
"How do you account for your remarkable accomplishment in life?" Queen
Victoria of England asked Helen Keller. "How do you explain the fact
that even though you were both blind and deaf, you were able to
accomplish so much?"
Ms. Keller's answer is a tribute to her dedicated teacher. "If it had
not been for Anne Sullivan, the name of Helen Keller would have
remained unknown."
Speaker Zig Ziglar tells about "Little Annie" Sullivan, as she was
called when she was young. Little Annie was no stranger to hardship.
She was almost sightless herself (due to a childhood fever) and was,
at one time, diagnosed as hopelessly "insane" by her caregivers. She
was locked in the basement of a mental institution outside of Boston.
On occasion, Little Annie would violently attack anyone who came near.
Most of the time she generally ignored everyone in her presence.
An elderly nurse believed there was hope, however, and she made it her
mission to show love to the child. Every day she visited Little Annie.
For the most part, the child did not acknowledge the nurse's presence,
but she still continued to visit. The kindly woman left cookies for
her and spoke words of love and encouragement. She believed Little
Annie could recover, if only she were shown love.
Eventually, doctors noticed a change in the girl. Where they once
witnessed anger and hostility, they now noted an emerging gentleness
and love. They moved her upstairs where she continued to improve. Then
the day finally came when this seemingly "hopeless" child was
released.
Anne Sullivan grew into a young woman with a desire to help others as
she, herself, was helped by the loving nurse. It was she who saw the
great potential in Helen Keller. She loved her, disciplined her,
played with her, pushed her, and worked with her until the flickering
candle that was her life became a beacon of light to the world. Anne
Sullivan worked wonders in Helen's life, but it was a loving nurse who
first believed in Little Annie and lovingly transformed an
uncommunicative child into a compassionate teacher.
"If it had not been for Anne Sullivan, the name of Helen Keller would
have remained unknown." But if it had not been for a kind and
dedicated nurse, the name of Anne Sullivan would have remained
unknown. And so it goes. Just how far back does the chain of
redemption extend? And how for forward will it lead?
Those you have sought to reach, whether they be in your family or
elsewhere, are part of a chain of love that can extend through the
generations. Your influence on their lives, whether or not you see
results, is immeasurable. Your legacy of dedicated kindness and caring
can transform lost and hopeless lives for years to come.
You can never overestimate the power of your love. It is a fire that,
once lit, may burn forever.
Wish you an excellent day!
Much Love,
Priya:))

Making The Best of You! (Posted by Priya Deelchand)
Hope you are all doing great! Here is a true story written by Steve
Goodier that I would like to share with you.
They say "make the best of a bad situation." But I believe the bad
situation makes the best of you. Even the irritations of life can be
useful. President Abraham Lincoln showed us how this is so.
One of his cabinet appointees, Edwin Stanton, frequently found flaws
with the president and criticized him -- sometimes in public. Lincoln
seemed to show excessive patience with him. The president was asked
why he kept such a man in a high level position.
Lincoln characteristically responded with a story. He told about a
time he was visiting with an old farmer. He noticed a big horsefly
biting the flank of the farmer's horse. Lincoln said he reached over
to brush the fly away. As he did so, the farmer stopped him and
cautioned, "Don't do that, friend. That horsefly is the only thing
keeping this old horse moving."
Even life's many irritations and problems have their place. They may
cause us to change directions. Or prod us to greater achievement. Or
keep us moving along when it's easier to go nowhere.
Are you simply making the best of a bad situation, or will it make the
best of you?
Have an excellent day!
Much Love,
Priya:))

Overnight Successes by Zig Ziglar (Posted by Priya Deelchand)
an incredible thing. He sailed his ten-foot boat across the
Atlantic Ocean in just fifty-four days. Most of us can only
imagine what he endured to complete his ordeal, but suddenly
the whole world knew who he was.
What is the real story? Did he just have a good idea,
implement it, and "luck" into celebrity status?
Gary worked, planned, sacrificed, and studied for three
years to build his boat. He committed not only his money but
also 100 percent of his spare time for three solid years. He
had to chart his course and plan every detail, including
maximum use of his space and the proper food, clothing, and
water to carry.
Once the trip began, so did the danger. The most dangerous
and difficult part was fighting the violent areas of the
Atlantic Ocean. The seas often combined with a driving,
bitterly cold rain, which chilled him to the bone.
By the time he reached England... his entire body was black
and blue... it's safe to say that he sacrificed and worked
in order to receive his rewards.
Most of us are not interested in doing anything of that
nature, but it's safe to say that if we're going to
accomplish anything of significance... long hours of
planning and even more hours of had work are required. It's
also safe to say it's worth it because the effort is
temporary, but the satisfaction and rewards can be long-
lasting.

Never Forget How Very Special You Are (Posted by Priya Deelchand)
My dearest friends,
Here is a poem (author unknown) for you all.
Your presence is a present to the world.
You're unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days, just one at a time.
Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You'll make it through, whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.
Don't put limits on yourself.
So many dreams are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak, your goal and your prize.
Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.
The longer one carries a problem, the heavier it gets.
Don't take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.
Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot . . . goes forever.
Remember that friendship is a wise investment.
Life's treasures are people . . . together.
Realize that it's never too late.
Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
Have health, hope and happiness.
Take the time to wish upon a star.
And don't ever forget . . .
For even a day . . .
How very special you are.
We wish you all an excellent week!
Much Love,
Priya:))

The mystycal only smile and take his ring from one of his fingers, and said "Young friend, I will answer your question, but first do one thing for me, take this ring and go to the the market accross this street, can you sold this for one chip of gold ?
Look at Zun-Nun's dirty ring, the young man become doubtfull, "One chip of gold? I am not sure this ring could be sold at that price."
"Try first, young man, who know you did it ." The Young man go to the market quickly. He offer the ring to the textile, vegetable, meat, fish traders, and the others. The fact is that no bodies willing to pay for a chip of Gold. He go back to Zun-Nun residence and report "Teacher, no bodies brave to offer more than one chip of silver."
With a wise smile of Zun-Nun, he said "Now go to the Gold Shop at the back of this street, show this to the owner or to the gold trader. Dont give your price just listen how much he will pay for this ring."
The Young man went to the shop mentioned and return with a different expression from his face. He then report "Teacher, the traders in the market really dont know the value of this ring, the gold trader offer this ring for one thousand of golds, And the value of this ring was one thousands times from what the traders in the market offer.
Zun nun just smile subtly spoke softly, "That was the answer of your questions my friend, "Someone cannot be value only from his dress " The traders in the market" give value like that.
But not for "The gold trader" The gold and Diamond inside someone only could be seen and value if you could look at the inner soul. It need heart to see, and it need a process. We cannot see it from the words or attitude that only seen for a while. Many time what we thing is a gold, is only a brass but a brass is a gold.

Woolworth Success Story (Posted by Priya Deelchand)
When young F. W. Woolworth was a store clerk, he tried to convince his boss to have a ten-cent sale to reduce inventory.
The boss agreed, and the idea was a resounding success. This inspired Woolworth to open his own store and price items at a nickel and a dime. He needed capital for such a venture, so he asked his boss to supply the capital for part interest in the store.
His boss turned him down flat. "The idea is too risky," he told Woolworth. "There are not enough items to sell for five and ten cents." Woolworth went ahead without his boss's backing, and he not only was successful in his first store, but eventually he owned a chain of F. W. Woolworth stores across the nation. Later, his former boss was heard to remark, "As far as I can figure out, every word I used to turn Woolworth down cost me about a million dollars."

Abundance is Our Birthright! by Priya Deelchand
We live in an abundant Universe and there is more than enough for all of us. Most people think of abundance in terms of material wealth only. They measure abundance in terms of the amount of money they have in their bank accounts, the cars they own, the properties they have and other material items they possess. Material wealth is only one component of abundance. In fact, abundance also includes love, joy, happiness, good health, peace, fulfilling relationships, etc.
When we look around us, we can see that we are surrounded by abundance and love, joy, happiness, money, peace and health is readily available to everyone willing to accept them. Many of us, however, think in terms of scarcity. We think that there is not enough and as a result, we find it very difficult to manifest abundance and prosperity our lives. If there is any lack in our lives it is not because there is not enough, but rather, because we are blocking abundance from coming to us because of our negative thoughts and limiting beliefs about prosperity. These negative vibrations that we emit in the Universe stop the flow of abundance from coming to us.
We can use the Law of Attraction to attract more abundance into our lives. The Law of Attraction is one of the most powerful laws in the Universe and it states that we attract into our life whatever we give our energy, attention and focus to, whether wanted or unwanted. If, for example, we want to attract more financial abundance into our life, you have to first of all become very clear about what we desire. Once we are clear about what we want, we must raise our vibration and become a vibrational match to what we want to attract.
We must then allow financial abundance to come into our life and eliminate all the doubts and fears that we have about abundance and prosperity. If, for example, we want to attract a certain amount of money, say one hundred thousand dollars, we must keep our mind focused on the thought that we already have this sum and how we would feel when we use that money to buy the things we want. When we have doubts, we must immediately shift our thoughts to the result that we want and be grateful for it and feel happy.
One of the most important factors to living in abundance is to be in a constant state of gratitude. Staying in a state of gratitude will give us more things to be grateful for. An attitude of gratitude is an attractor for more of what we are grateful for. If we want more material abundance in our life, we must be grateful for what we already have. For example, we must be grateful for the money we have in our bank account, for the car we possess, for the house we own, etc. Giving thanks for everything that we have is a step forward toward achieving something bigger and better than our current situation. In fact, the feelings of gratitude and happiness will raise our vibration and make us attract more situations and circumstances to be even more grateful and happy.
As Melody Beattie said "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow."
Our life is meant to be prosperous and we deserve the very best in all areas of life. We are all children of the Universe and we all have an equal right to the infinite abundance that is available to all. Abundance is our birthright! Let us all claim it now!

Boost Your Self Esteem With Positive Affirmations by Priya Deelchand
Your ability to achieve what you truly desire in your life depends largely on your self esteem. Your self esteem is how you feel about yourself. The stronger your self esteem, the more confidence you will have in your abilities and the more you will accomplish in life. In fact, there is a direct relationship between self esteem and success. Successful people generally have a very high self esteem and think very highly about themselves whereas most unsuccessful people have a very low self esteem. According to Dr Nathaniel Branden, famous psychologist on self esteem, "There is no value-judgment more important to man-no factor more decisive in his psychological development and motivation than the estimate he passes on himself."
Building a strong self esteem is therefore of utmost importance for you to live a better, happier and more successful life. You can use positive affirmations techniques to build your self esteem and develop a powerful and positive attitude in life. Through the regular use of this powerful technique, you will begin to see wonderful changes in your life you never imagined possible.
Affirmation is something that you are doing all the time. In fact, every thought you think and every word you say is an affirmation. All of your inner dialogues are affirmations. You are continually affirming subconsciously with your words and thoughts and this flow of affirmations is creating your life experience in every moment.
If you want to build your self esteem, it is very important for you to develop a conscious and focused affirmation process. You must become conscious of exactly what you are affirming through your thoughts and consciously and purposefully focus those affirmations on positive and empowering statements. These positive affirmations will reprogram your subconscious mind and allow you to boost up your self esteem. By developing the habit of using positive affirmations regularly and consistently your subconscious will adapt to the new information it is being provided with.
For your affirmations to be 100% effective, it is important that you create your own affirmations based on your specific conditions and circumstances. It is very important to remember that your affirmations are only going to be effective if you can feel what you are affirming. It is the emotions that your affirmations create that will attract the things that you desire to you. The most effective positive affirmations are phrases that are in alignment with you, empower you and allow you to feel a shift in your emotions as you repeat them.
You can repeat the following affirmations to restore your self esteem or create your own affirmations. It is highly worth noting that loving yourself is the key to boost up your self esteem. The more you love yourself, the stronger your self esteem will grow.
Using positive affirmations can do wonders in building your self esteem. Louise Hart once said, self-esteem is as important to our well-being as legs are to a table. It is essential for physical and mental health and for happiness. You must believe in yourself and value yourself because you are unique and are capable of accomplishing great things in your life. As Nathaniel Hawthorne rightly said, "Every individual has a place to fill in the world, and is important, in some respect, whether he chooses to be so or not."

Achieve Success by Overcoming Your Self-Limiting Beliefs! by Priya Deelchand
Self-limiting beliefs are those things you believe about yourself that place boundaries on your aptitudes and skills. These beliefs may be conscious or unconscious. Examples of self-limiting beliefs are when you think that you are not good enough to do certain things, you are not intelligent enough to succeed in your exams, you are not as good as your friends or you do not deserve the good things in life. Most of these beliefs are not true, but they make you play small in life and prevent you from expressing the creative genius that resides within you.
Jamie Paolinetti rightly said "Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless." You can accomplish absolutely anything that you want in life if you make up your mind to. In fact, absolutely nothing is impossible and there are no limits to what you can be, do or have. What is really important is what you believe about yourself and whatever you believe with feeling becomes your reality. Tony Robbins once pointed out, "What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are."
The good news is that you can eliminate your self-limiting beliefs by becoming aware of them, identifying them and challenging them by replacing them with more positive beliefs. You must intentionally reject any thoughts that are limiting you in any way and you must always remember that there is nothing you cannot be, do or have. There is no one who is better or more capable than you are. We are all born with unlimited potentials, unique talents and abilities and we all deserve the very best in life. Always follow the wise advice of Thomas Carlyle "Let each become all that he was created capable of being."
Nothing in the world can stop you from becoming the great and successful person that you want to become as long as you are willing to persist long enough until you succeed. As Helen Keller said, we can do anything we want as long as we stick to it long enough. Once you are clear about the person you want to become you must develop new beliefs to become that person and you have to discipline yourself to act as if you were already that person. You will have to adopt new attitudes and qualities to become the successful person you want to become.
There are no limitations on your potential except for those that you believe you have. People who are successful have the firm belief and conviction that they can achieve anything that they truly desire. You too are a highly capable person and you equally deserve to be successful. From now on, see yourself as the best and most successful person you can be and do not accept any boundaries on your potential. Once you start believing in yourself and act in accordance with your new beliefs, you will open doors to unlimited possibilities and your future will be brighter than you ever imagined. As Mary Kay Ash said, "Do not limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve."

Persistence - Your Key to Success by Priya Deelchand
Persistence separates extraordinary people from ordinary ones. You too can succeed and achieve great things in your life if you cultivate the habit of persisting. All things are possible if you persist. People who persevere, never accept defeat. They just keep moving forward in the direction of their goals.
One of the main reasons why goals remain unachieved and why most people are not successful is a lack of persistence. Initially you are very excited and highly motivated when you make the decision to achieve your new goal and you are determined to succeed. However once an obstacle, large or small, appears you most often allow that obstacle to discourage you from continuing to do what it takes to achieve your goal and succeed.
People who achieved excellence have encountered many obstacles while climbing the ladder to success. Such obstacles would have discouraged most ordinary people a long time back. These extraordinary people, however, refused to quit. They persisted until they succeeded. Thomas Edison is a very good example of the power of perseverance. When he was asked how he managed to persist in the face of continued failure, he answered, "I did not fail. I have just found 10,000 ways not to invent the light bulb." Most people fail simply because they gave up too soon. If they had persisted, success would have been theirs.
You need to persist regardless of the obstacles you come across. You must keep telling yourself that as long as you keep trying, as long as you keep putting effort into doing what you need to do to achieve what you strongly desire, you will succeed. Always remember the wise words of Og Mandino who once said "I will persist until I succeed. Always will I take another step. If that is of no avail I will take another, and yet another. In truth, one step at a time is not too difficult.... I know that small attempts, repeated, will complete any undertaking."
If you persist, you will succeed over the person who has more money, more education or even more talents than you have. Calvin Coolidge was right when he said "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing in the world is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
Persistence has incredible power. Take constant action in the direction of your goals and trust that the best outcome will always materialize. Never quit. Do not stop singing if you are not accepted at an audition, do not give up on that job you always wanted, do not stop striving to be the person you always wanted to be, do not give up your big dreams. Always remember that all great people started as ordinary people but had a dream and persisted and with a positive mental attitude achieved extraordinary success. If they persisted and succeeded, you can too! So begin to persist now and remember what Winston Churchill said "Never, never, never give up!"
